FOUNDER AND COUNSEL

Joe Prive founded Navy Yard Law to provide sophisticated litigation judgment and advocacy through a direct, efficient, and focused practice.

Before founding the firm, Joe practiced in commercial-litigation groups in Boston and New Hampshire, representing businesses, professionals, entrepreneurs, and individuals in complex commercial and fraud-related disputes. His work has included detailed factual investigations, document-intensive litigation, motion practice, discovery strategy, depositions, and contested proceedings.

Before practicing law, Joe served for five years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps and deployed to Afghanistan. He is a graduate of the Defense Language Institute, Amherst College, and Boston University School of Law.
